We are seeking a creative and strategic thinker for a full-time position managing and executing the marketing and digital activities of our growing company.

This is a hands on job that requires the ability to strategize and plan; yet the majority of your day will be the tactical execution of marketing and digital endeavors.

You will lead a marketing team of two, yourself included with support from management, outside vendors and sub contractors.

You should possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

You must be capable of building effective relationships with management, staff, vendors and sub contractors.

You should possess a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and quality; along with the organizational ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and the ability to focus on results.

The Marketing Coordinator must demonstrate skill at writing, editing and proofreading; graphic design skills; and be adept at managing social media channels.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

Manage the marketing, websites, advertising and public relations for Burlington Furniture Company, Our business consists of two adjoining stores, Burlington Furniture and Burlington Mattress. While both are under the same corporate umbrella, each store has and requires its own marketing and advertising plan, budget and execution. You will responsible for both stores. We will be adding Burlington Outdoor this Spring.

Assist in creating marketing plans and budgets. Execute marketing plans and marketing budgets within the established guidelines.

Manage the budget with monthly updates including all coop with vendors and credits.

Participate in the design, creation and maintenance of our websites, social media, eblasts, display ads, TV, print, magazines and other promotional materials.

Placement for all advertising and related collateral. Coordinate all necessary photography, video and content for our websites, eblasts, display ads, social media, print advertisements, catalogs, brochures, and store signage.

Coordinate all special events with our store managers and provide for all necessary marketing materials and communications. Create signage for stores, design ads, postcards or other media needed to promote events. Communicate with company staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the design and execution of marketing including online/social media, advertising and graphic design with demonstrated success preferably in the home furnishings sector.

Strong understanding of brand management.

Significant experience in all aspects of online audience development, including SEO, SEM, online advertising, social media marketing and newsletter marketing.

Current expertise with latest technologies and trends including social marketing techniques, mobile marketing and search technologies.

Experience developing and managing budgets. Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media.

Experience designing and producing print ads, publications, e-blasts.

Competent in Adobe Creative Suite, Google AdWords, Facebook, Constant Contact and MatterPort. Literate in Microsoft 365 and data base management,

Strong business ethics.
